Projector Compatibility

The following list shows projectors with built-in scaling which are compatible with Anamorphic Research lenses, and any special requirements specific to that projector. Projectors not listed may require a separate video scaling device in order to vertically stretch the image for anamorphic lens use. The Oppo BDP-83 Blu-ray player has built-in scaling modes for anamorphic lens use.  Unless specified, the minimum throw ratio for compatibility with the AR2 Lens is approximately 1.40.*

*Throw ratios are calculated by taking the throw distance divided by the pre-lens native 16:9 image width. If you only know your 2.35 screen width you can multiply it by 0.75 to get the pre-lens native 16:9 image width.
